A Hummingbird Heirloom makes every effort to ensure descriptions are accurate and completely honest. We are value transparency and honesty in ALL we do. We want you to LOVE your purchases! Our photos ARE NOT EDITED! What you see is what you will get! The only photo editing we do, is to crop the photos, so you can see the items clearly. Please bear in mind, that colors are subjective to the device you are using and the color scale set up on that device.
A Hummingbird Heirloom stresses the importance of good packaging. We want your loved items to arrive to you in the condition you purchased them. We use good sturdy boxes, most of which are purchased new with 200lb test weight. Occasionally, recycled boxes will be used for larger or oddly shaped items but we will ensure all items are packaged extremely well! We also believe in recycling, where possible, so often shredded paper will be used to help cushion your treasures. In addition, fragile items are wrapped with layers of bubble paper to ensure they make their journey unscathed.
At A Hummingbird Heirloom, we take great pride in our products and how they are packaged. Unfortunately, damage may occur during transit, regardless of how well items are packaged.
If damage occurs, we will require pictures of the damaged item(s), all the packaging materials and the box(es). These pictures will be required for insurance claims, as all our packages are shipped with insurance. With these pictures and the pre-transit photos; determinations can be more easily made by the Postal service, in regard to insurance.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Due to the nature of our business, most items are delicate porcelain or glass and will be wrapped with lots of bubble wrap. After carefully wrapping, we can add lots of colored tissue paper (our choice of colors) and a card. During checkout, let us know what message you would like and we will write YOUR message inside. Your gift recipient will receive your thoughtful gift and upon opening the shipping box, a gift card with YOUR message will be on top of colorful tissue paper, and their carefully chosen gift will be nestled in packing peanuts/shredded paper and wrapped with bubble paper.
During the Holiday season a Christmas themed card will be used. Other times of the year, a generic card will be used.
All orders destined for international customers, are shipped with TRACKING! You are excited to receive your parcel, what better way to know how long you have to wait, than being able to track!
